Dude that was my thought exactly. I fell through that floor so many times into those spikes. Though it wasn't gory or anything.
I just bought it the other day too. I've only played that first level as I haven't had much free time. But man I struggled to find the way to that chest. I knew what would need to happen, but I just couldn't make it happen.
