I still play because of the good first party titles. I have had the wii since the 2nd christmas it was out, and more recently have been using my ps3 since I got it last summer. Some games use the motion controls well, and others they feel like they were thrown in last minute. Some that come to mind as good examples are: mario kart, dead space extraction, goldeneye, re4, and guitar hero/ rock band star power activation.

As far as wii u success goes, I don't think it will reach wii numbers. But I think it has a lot of potential sell well and do some cool things.

More specifically, I should make it an essay about the video game industry. Will they wake up and make variety again or will they continue to make all games more and more alike? Gaming went down the shutter for the most part this generation. It was mostly cheaply produced trash and expensively produced trash.

In fact it started last gen and become more noticeable this one. You won't belive how many PS2 "greats" have flaws in their gameplay. It's depressing.
