Why? There was plenty of Digimon for the DS. I think it's almost guaranteed at this point.

Earlier I went to check out the smallish chain store near my place (I bought my DQM: Terry 3DS bundle there.) Anyway, they were all sold out of DQX stuff. By that I mean the Wii console bundle, the DQX/USB bundle, the standalone game, the standalone DQX USB stick as well as that DQX Hori keyboard. Was not expecting that, strange... I also need to play more NSMB2, but DQM:Terry is addicting. Almost at the 120hr mark now! |

1-13: full.
14-16: full (single-player-something)
17-18: full (players without keyboard)
19: full (students)
Of course this is launch week, but good sign nonetheless

Anyway, I may end up getting DQX afterall. I'm going to be switching to a new internet service provider as my speed will double from 100Mbps to 200Mbps, but more importantly they have a nice fiber optic tv service I want.
I just found out that they have a promotion with DQX. The promotion is you can get a free in game "beret", but new customers to the isp service also get a free 1,000 yen nintendo point card (30 days of DQX game time!) and this Smile Slime stuffed doll!
I'm not switching to them until I get back from my trip home to the U.S. though, so it won't be until next month. It'd be nice having 50 days of free game time though (20 days included, plus the extra point card for time) and the Slime doll!

It seems that Onitore's first week is on par with Brain Age 1's first week.
So will it have massive legs like Brain Age 1 had or will it fall like Nintendogs + Cat did?
I guess only time will tell.

A better comparison would be with the sequel Brain age 2, which did 400k FW. Not expecting those numbers, but I think it shuld've done 200k if it would have a chance of performing like the ones before. People know what Brain Age is, so I doubt it will suddenly explode to great numbers. That said, if digital numbers were big, then that changes everything!
