The D-Pad on the Dualshock is great, it does it job perfectly for fighting games. I'd agree the triggers could be tweaked.

the dualshock is still the best overall controller out there. the only thing they should change is the R2 and L2 buttons.

MINOR ergonomics upgrade, stop having rounded-off analogs, and that's about all I have to complain about.

pretty much this.  the layout of the dual shock is fine overall but i prefer the 360 controller just because it's size is more ergonomic for me.

...i really, really don't under stand why all  3 (nintendo/sony/MS) all don't officially support at least 2 sizes of controllers.  seems like a no brainer that kids and adult hands aren't the same size and peripherials tend to make money.

Some changes are needed:

1. D-pad needs to be less abusive on my thumb!
2. The analog sticks need to be curved in so they don't slip
3. I dont mind the L2/R2 as it is, but if they make them more trigger like I am fine with that

Just as long as they keep the analog sticks at the same level, none of that odd 360 analog stick placement. I can never quite wrap my mind around that when I play on friends' xboxes.

no not really. a few small changes but the shape cane stay as it is. maybe a tiny bit bigger and i mean TINY bit.

It is in desperate need of a redesign. Ive never liked it.

OT: The overall design is perfect, but they should definitely uipdate the L2/R2 buttons (The only good thing about the 360 controller), the D-Pad, and the analog sticks should be a little stiffer.
