Lol, kidding! But have you noticed that every single year (since 1994) they say the goalies are getting smarter? They must be freaking nobel-prize level genius by now! We're stalling human progress by making them catch balls!

Heh, yeah. Then again, I have '08 and the goalies are pretty darn stupid; running out to get a ball, not saving etc.

This is more of a tradition. Teams getting changed, player skills getting changed that is it. You have to like football to understand.

it is not like they are only changing the players and team. The change (improve) the game year after. The game has changed incredibly since fifa 10, the passing game, AI, physics everything has been enchanced in the last 2/3 years. 

Giving it away for free would be dumbest thing ever. And DLC are not an option anyway because many people don´t even visit the PSN store frequently. Some people don´t even know what DLC is.

NSMB2 should be discounted, yes. But at least it's new levels, mechanics, not released every year etc., whilst the FIFA games merely increase AI and change a few character names about.

WTF? What does Mario has to do with Fifa?

You can´t compare those two franchises, in any other way except of sales. What could you change in Fifa except of Gameplay Mechanics?

Mario games have much more potential for change.
