This is simply another option to get the game, this is not the only way to get it. So if you don't like the price, just get retail. This is not overpricing of the game at all.

It is overpricing. There is no retailer involved so 100% of it goes to Nintendo, not just 60% or whatever they would get at retail (Wii games went for 20 bucks to retailers who sold them for 45 ...), and they sure won't pay the difference to improve their online network which will be the equivalent of retail stores and sellers.

Nintendo has already given their recommended price and they have to stick to it, at least at first. Maybe later on they'll do a sale or something, but right now at launch they can't undercut the people they supply, otherwise those storefronts will never choose to carry a Nintendo game again (for fear of being undercut by the devs). It's the same as buying a brand-name handbag straight from the hands of the people who make them, or artwork directly from the person who just painted it. Just buy it at retail if the price is a factor, but don't expect any digital deals anytime soon.

If they tried to set the RRP at £29.99, the retailers might sell it for £19.99?

You can turn off the 3D on the 3DS by going into the settings and setting up parental controls. Don't know how the whole process works, but you can turn 3D off. It's probably just a hardware malfunction and you should check with Nintendo.

I tried watching the new trailer but the video player is all messed up and I can't see anything. ( I hate when youtube videos do that)

Anyway, the 90's adds are awesome. My brother and I already preordered our copies, were going to be playing the whole game co-op.

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

Impressions from a Neogafer, Nocturnowl:

And that's World 2 down, before I delve into that I have to say something about this games level design.
It's strange in a way, you can tell that a much different team were on the case with this game, secrets are hidden more craftily, some levels tend to have a greater vertical element and not just because of the raccoon tail, levels seems more likely to build upwards as well as across.
In a way this is what I wanted from this iteration, that due to the new guys taking the reigns that perhaps stages would break further from the more standard design, stages can seem cluttered at times with the more open approach, almost like platforms are just all over the place but I like what i've played so far, of course it's still very much NSMB but there's just some touches that make it not feel too samey.
The backgrounds and general stage appearances tend to have a greater variety even if trapped within the same world themes.

Hey, some retailers in Mexico and Australia already have this game out! So unfair!
