now that i saw it, its not a huge leap, actually some older tech demos look more impressive, I'm guessing they're just testing the frame rate rather than just the "Graphics" , which is a very good thing

No it reccomends a GTX 670 SLI setup to run at 1080p they are just throwing as much tech as possible at the scene.

The 40k physically simulated tessellated hair strands is the real killer, that is almost at the level of The Spirits Within's 60k strand simulation. The lighting and skin rendering is very impressive as well tho youtube kills it a bit. Look at these full screen and it's better than CGI movies from 10 years ago in terms of the character model there are no signs of any polygons and the silhouette is smothly curved it must be using crazy tesselation. Tho to run the game at that resolution you would need 4 GTX 680s lol
