Australia and Japan need to win some more golds.

Hmm, pie.

Yes, another gold for GB in the showjumping, in a jump-off!

That was close, nail-biting stuff, but JUST pipped Netherlands...

Another GOLD. Brilliant.

Big link... But the French seem butthurt over GB performance. Lol at them. V.

And there may well be another couple of golds to come today (cycling, hurdles, individual jumping etc.) as well!

And the French aren't doing too badly. It's more Australia, Japan and Russia who have the biggest disappointments. They just sound surprised, despite the fact the same thing happened at Beijing, and that we have the home advantage which gives us a chance...

The same thing happened in Vancouver in 2010. Canada got 14 gold medals which was our best performance ever.

If I remember correctly, they'd never got a gold medal in a winer games before, no? It just goes to show how much the home advantage helps.

Anyway, another GB gold with Kenny in the track cycling, but these seem like formalities now

JAMAICA!!!! WHOO!!!!!!

EBTW, does anyone know who Jamaica has that can replace Asafa Powell in the relay? Felt really dissapointed when he had to succumb to injury yesterday. He could have been a contender for third place instead of that doping, smack-talking Gatlin. I would have preferred Tyson Gay get the bronze than Gatlin.

You don't remember correctly Canada had plenty of gold medals before Vancouver 2010 but never that many. In fact, 14 golds is the record for most Gold medals by a country in the Winter Olympics.

France have been a massive bunch of ass hats they are insinuating that we could not of possibly got this good in such a short space of time in cycling.
