My Wii my still be beside my TV but will probably be unplugged unless I need to play some Gamecube games on it. I will keep all of my Wii games in my collection as well. I'll probably pick up more Wii games over the next years as I find the ones I've missed cheap,

I will place it upstairs with the WiiU downstairs.
Since I have two copies of Animal Crossing, I can finally invade my son's town.

I disagree. With all the play control ports the Wii is easily superior to both of them.

Have 2 of them, White and a red Wii, will keep one out for a while, I am lucky enough to have a game room in my Apt, I have about 9 consoles still connected to 3 diffeent TV's my Wii isnt going nowhere,

Christ sakes, just sell it and quit whining already. Give it to someone who will actually appreciate it. I'm SO sick of hearing this from the snobby self proclaimed hardcore.

the Wii is an amazing console with a huge varied library, plus it is backwards compatible with my beloved GC, so the Wii will be played for decades at home...

Good luck cause that game is pretty damn expensive now (even used on Amazon).  I wish I got it a awhile back when it was pretty damn cheap used.

Personally, I have an awesome collection of games on my Wii, some I could play indefinitely (Wii Sports, Mario Kart, many arcade classics), a great many I've yet to finish and far too many I've yet to start. Plus a lot I've finished but love to replay.

Therefore I have no plans to ever replace my Wii.

Besides for having one of the best first party lineups in the history of Nintendo consoles, having the revolutionary Wii Remote, and third party games like Monster Hunter Tri and GoldenEye that I've loged countless hours on I wouldn't say that the Wii offered much.
