I am sorry but this thread is a bit of a grand failure given the omissions of huge titles like disgaea, eternal sonata, demon's souls etc the list goes on and for no reason at all teaming up the totally different FF XIII and FF XIII-2.

I suggest using this thread to make a complete list of all the RPGs of this gen

Funny how this is missing games like Skyrim, Oblivion, Fallout, Pokemon, etc. Not only are these RPG's some of the biggest RPG's but they're also 4 of the most popular RPG's. This thread is bias and a fail.

I have to go with the game that I'm currently replaying Lost Odyssey.

Lightning Returns is the best.

Rainbow Moon shouldn't be on the list either I think he should have scraped those two games and included "other" as a choice on the list.

I voted for FFXIII (yeah that's right bitch), but only because Fallout: New Vegas isn't on there and I haven't finished Skyrim. I can't stomach most of the JRPGs on the market, I am a grown ass man and they just seem childish and ridiculous. FFXIII had problems, but it gets way too much hate specially when I hear the games people praise instead. I tried playing Tales of Vesperia after people kept telling me how amazing it was, and I was uncomfortable playing a game that I thought was clearly aimed at children. My intelligence was insulted with every conversation.

I don't have a Wii anymore, so I haven't played Xenoblade. If it's anything like what I just described, I probably wouldn't like it.

edit: The 2 FFXIII games should be seperate, they are very different.

I'm one of the few who actually voted for FFXIII/FFXIII-2. I'm a fan of Final Fantasy, all of them, no matter how bad others may say it is. For the other ones, to be honest, I've never played them so my opinion is pretty biased in that respect. But I've seen videos and looked around in terms of its gameplay and they didn't interest me in the slightest.

Gotta go with Valkyria Chronicles here.
