 HEY RIGHT HERE LOOK!!!!!!!

I didn't really want to make a new thread just for this one question, so I'll ask here.

I'm not taking my PS3 for the first semester of college, so does anyone know if I can access the PS store from my computer to buy games and such? For when they are on sale and stuff, and to "purchase" the free games of the month for PS+.

Is that possible, or am i just screwed?



 Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

You're screwed, glued, and tattooed, dude.  If you go through the official Playstation website and attempt to purchase a game, you will be forwarded to another online retailer (Gamestop, Best Buy, etc.) to buy the download code.  But you can't use that code if you're not using your PS3.  So this begs the question, why in the f*** are you not bringing your console to college?

You can through remote play but you need a Vaio, PSP, or PS Vita.

I sometimes use my Vita to check both the Vita's version of the PS Store and on my PS3. If you think Remote Play is the route you want to go you will have to make sure your PS3 is connected to a router that won't send auto turn on signals or else you won't be able to use Remote Play away from your home because it will disable the feature, some bad decision to use a type of wireless signal to turn the console on is the same as what most routers send out to search for devices.



Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

How did anything bite the dust? Last I checked the holidays were still a few months away. Not to mention this was a rumor that I did not start so even if it doesn't happen I don't know why its on me.


I'm more of an N4G and, unfortunately, an IGN poster, So I didn't really come here on this site, and tell everyone no, a 16GB unit is dumb and it will never happen.

But for sure, on my regular sites, like the prophet I am,  I said just that.

And btw, A real prophet owns the stuff he says, especially the big stuff....this was big enough, and you called it wrong.......again.

No offense, but I'm so far not impressed with what I've seen from your predictions.

 

Anyways...Would you like more time on your 16GB PS3 assertions, or are you giving up already, Superchunk?

lol, again read the op and follow the links. I'm mearly bringing news/rumors from the net to here. I threw out some ideas of why I thought it could happen and why I believed the original poster on gaf, but its not my prediction.

Eitherway, I wouldn't call it fake until October/November anyways.
