I see. I guess I remembered wrong. Though it was still the nummber 1 selling game even outside of the bundles.

In the west? I have a hard time believing that. Every person that bought a Wii would have a copy.

I didn't have a copy with mine and it was  a launch Wii. I've never had Wii Sports at all.

I'm taking your word for it, but I'm sure I remembered the first console being just the Wii and 1 Wii mote then later being released with Wii Sports and 2 Wiimotes.

Nah, I'm not lying about a pack in game that game with the Wii. It was bundled with Wii Sports everywhere but Japan and S.Korea. This is very easy to check.

It couldn't have been standard for all of them. It wouldn't have made sense for NIntendo to sale the game seperately in the first year or 2 if it came with every single system. Everyone would have had it already, guaranteed.

It also wouldn't explain why my Wii didn[t come with Wii Sports.

It was included as a pack-in game with the Wii console in all territories except Japan,[3] - WIkipedia Wii Sports article.

Best-selling game Wii Sports (pack-in, except in Japan and South Korea) 67.71 million (as of September 30, 2010)[6]

 - Wikipedia Wii article.

"We've sent Sterling to New York for Nintendo's big Wii media event, and he's reported back all the juicy details...Packaged inside the Wii will be one wireless Wii Remote controller, one Nunchuk controller, a copy of Wii Sports and the console itself."

I don't know what there is more for me to say.

I'm not questing whether or not the bundles existed. I questioning how many there were. Was it every console, every other console or just here and there?

Every launch console came with Wii Sports, apart from those in Japan and S.Korea, that was back in 2006. The next 'oldest' Wii hardware listings I can find on Amazon are from 2010 where they started bundling Wii Sports Resort and the Wii Motion Plus.

The Wii was never released in the beginning or near the beginning with 2 WiiMotes.

That was my point.
