Pachter's not giving us any information we don't already have. Nintendo was pretty plainly spoken at E3 about how the Pro controller is for more traditional third party games like shooters. I don't understand what the point is to all this discussion?

I might get one of those but I don't see too much advantage this controller has over the CCP.

The problem is his assumption on why it was developed.  Certainly Nintendo developed the Pro Controller (as well as the Wii's Classic Controller Pro) with the intention of offering 3rd parties and consumers a more tradiaional game controller.  The problem is Pachter is speculating that Activision directly told Nintendo to develop a Pro styled controller or they would withhold CoD from release on Wii U.

He was just trying out his newly founded telepathic powers. 

"Activision never said anything to me, but I know that [for] big games like Call Of Duty they said, 'No, we're not putting it on there if you don't give us a conventional controller'. So they gave in."

Jessica Alba never told me, but I know that she said, "I'm dumping Cash Warren for that Viper guy on VGC."

I don't know.  I'm starting to think I have a chance.  Now Ryan Reynolds never told me this but I know he told Jessica Alba to leave Cash for me.

Pachter professionalism at its best. He is more than entitled to his opinion that things are not going to work. I hope for this sake -- and his clients' sake -- it is researched. But when you are quoted as saying (and having to say) "I don't think they suck" -- You are showing to me that (1) you are unprofessional and (2) at best you have a perceived bias issue (at worst you have a real bias issue). That would make me NOT do business with your company.

PS -- Anyone know what Pachter thought about the Facebook IPO? He criticized Zuckerberg for wearing a hoodie to the investor meeting ... but still rated it a BUY. We all know how well that turned out. In other words, even when he sees things, he misses them. (And before you say everyone did, my broker knew to stay/keep me away).

Yes develop a controller just for COD, because we all know that the gaming industry revolves around COD and so called hardcore fps :/ Nintendo developed a classic controller for the Wii, so whats different this time? they are just trying to cater for those that prefer a traditional control style over tablets and motion control..not for one friggin game. pachter needs to find another career.
