If they release both GOW and TLOU for spring I wonder what they would release for fall. Seeing how UC has been released in the fall time I see them releasing it in fall unless they announce killzone, infamous, or release beyond in fall.

You are right they will probably release it in fall next year. But I don´t know if it is wise to wait so long.

Yeah it seems to far for a fall release but atleast they wont have to rush it

Of course it will be a PS3 title, but that's not what I was syaing. I expect the PlayStation 4 to release, not The Last Of Us to release as a PS4 title.

Aha, well I think the PS4 wont release until 2014.

And give its competitors 1 & 2 years head-start? Doubt it.

Sonys managment has said several times that they never where the first to launch a new console, and don´t intend to change this.

More than that, it doesn't invalidate a 2013 launch. I mean, they say they won't laucnh first (nor cheapest) but at the same time, won't "let the PS4 come out after the 720". To me, they're saying a lot of things right now, a sort of testing the waters, if you will (like Microsoft, they will be watching that WiiU launch very close), but I think one thing's for sure - they won't let more than 365 days pass between a competitor's launch and their own.


Yep worst case scenario they will be late by 6months for a world wide launch..but even that I doubt it. My guess is end of 2013 launch...at least in Japan, If they are smart they will make a push for a global launch in december

If the Wii U flat out bombs and the PS3 still racks in good profit, then I could see them waiting until 2014.

I would be 'very' surprised if the wiiU does anywhere near as good as the Wii did in its first year anyways. I think Sony's biggest issue right now is NA and the xbox. If they launch close to each other Sony will create a hefty lead in EU and Asia easily...and they can try and steal some momentum from the xbox in the NA as well. It's the ideal scenario for them.
