Can we call this slim if it's actually the same size? I guess we can call it slim 2 because I think Sony will just think of it as a new model without actually calling it "slim", just like with the last redesign.

HATE the ridged texture on the top. Otherwise it would be pretty good.

Will I get it? Maybe. If it's $199. My slim PS3 is close to its death bed..... this will be a good replacement.

Why do you even download mot movies on your PS3? Isn't that what Netflix or buying Blu-Rays is for?

hmm since some people don't care if they have some ugly things in their living room beside all the stuff they buy to make the living room look nice i would say it will give ps3 a huge boost with a nice picecut and since the 16gb version seems to be real i would say we will see a 100 dollar lower ps3 as the lowest atm. 16gb 100 lower and 250gb 50 lower (or something like that)

will be a good gift for kids with lbp karting or for people who couldn't or didn't want to afford a ps3 until today with that new super cheap game series (forgot the name). and maybe some people will buy that as second ps3 for their second tv in another room. if sony will make money only with the console itself that would be great for sony.

€dit: i just looked, 320gb ps3 is 214 euro atm on german amazon. a 16gb model could maybe go for 99 euro then.

I've got the 80gb and PS+ killed my hard drive, I had to delete GT5 data.

yeah and just cause 2 is making sure I don't have time for any other ps3 game >_> so many games but no time
