After you've played Skyrim, you realize that Oblivion is very flawed in comparison. I don't think you would be missing much by not playing Oblivion.

Been away for a bit, but sneaking back in.

Gaming on: PS4, PC, 3DS. Got a Switch! Mainly to play Smash

Just bought Fallout: New Vegas and Tropico 4: Modern times DLC.

Planning to buy Skyrim if the price gets down to around £15.

Oh yeah, I'm picking up Risen for 5 dollars as soon as it goes on sale

Question: Does Valve have Spring and Winter sales as well?

Winter sales at least (around Christmas and the new year). I don't think they've had spring sales

Cool. Have to check them out then, since by Nov / Dec I'll actually have my PC.

they also have halloween sale and reduce a lot of games then. and i believe a black friday sale but not sure if they really have that^^

Ok VGChartz, I need your help on choosing.

I can only pick one of these games:

- FEAR 3 for $4.99
- Civilization V for $7.49
- Deus Ex HR for $7.49
- Alan Wake for $7.49
- Far Cry 2 for $2.49 (Actually I think I could pick this one plus one of the others)

Which one is worth my bucks

I can only speak of Civ 5, and Deus Ex.... and as great as Deus Ex is.... Civ 5 will give you waaaaay more value in terms of length in just a single game.   Let alone it's massive replay value.

Then again, I can't see how that wouldn't be the case vs any of those games.

Now an owner of the entire S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series! From the footage I've seen of all three, Shadow of Chernobyl seems like the one I'll mostly like (kind of has a weird mix of F.E.A.R. and the original Far Cry, to me).

I need your words VGC, was it worth it to pick these up?

Shadow of Chernobyl was a really fun game. I enjoyed it a lot. I haven't played the others yet but I plan to.

Looks that way. The atmosphere from just watching trailers looks more immersive than most games I've played all gen, especially in the FPS genre.

Yea, it has a great atmosphere. It really draws you in, or atleast me. I also liked the gunplay, different than most fps, but in a good way.
