Probably getting both.

They are pretty fun but I prefer Tekken over them. (SSB over everything!

Thank you....
Anyway, I don't know why I'm siding with you... I've decided to get TTT2, and not DoA5, so, I will be switching my reserves around yet again... If DoA really is about the eye candy, I'd be smart to not get it on day 1.
As far as Tekken goes... Music, Stages, minor character tweaks, and a few returning clones... Is all this worth 60 dollars? I'm thinking so, but, I'm not sure... I've decided against Marvel Vs. Capcom: Origins, because there's no online 4-Player mode. So, for now, it's looking like ZoEHD: Collection, and TTT2 will be it...
Though, no one's really helping me.. One of the vids of DoA, I did see someone dashing in and out of range, and punishing the other player with the same axe kick.. the entire match... Hmm... You know what? I think I will stay away from DoA, if all you need is one attack to win a match.
You know what? Nevermind, all you people down-talking DoA helped me make a decision, as I've never played a DoA game before. I wont get this one... The biggest draw for me was the virtua fighter characters... But, I have Final Showdown.
Pre-order bonus if you pre-order TTT2.
Bikinis!!

That and...beyond the fact that it is Tekken after all, the Tag mode from the last Tekken Tag was just sick. This one will have more double teams, more characters and bring back the oldies who either died off or disappeared who were favorites. Argh! can't wait! This is my summer game right here!
I dont think there is anything wrong with being simple fighting game. Theres a reason why Tekken shot to popular in the PS1 days, They simple get into. Since T4 Tekken has been harder and harder to master. Dont even get me started with Street Fighter. Fighters should always be simple to get into to but be challenging to master. BlazBlu gets props for that as does DOA

You think BlazBlue is easy. Persona 4 Arena has quarter circle imputs only, plus autocombo strings to help newcomers.

BlazBu is not easy to get into in my opinion DOA yes though.

Tekken was never really simple. Tekken 4 was created to make the games accessible but turned out to be a broken game, scaring off half the gamers who used to play it. Look at the sales, it caused quite a sales drop because people played it in the arcade before it hit the shelves.Tekken 5 went under the radar for as a sleeper hit before it made a good amount of money back. As for DOA, it was always the weakest 3D competitor....sadly...always. When I was younger and went to the arcade DOA was the game we stayed away from after we tried it. The top arcades fighters were Killer Instinct, MK Ultimate, KOF, Virtua Fighter, Tekken and the other unknown SNK titles. One button is fine in that game. You don't even need to mash your way to glory in DOA just one button your way to victory. Another thing Blaz Blu is on another level than Street Fighter, especially considering it is a redress of Guilty Gear. Street Fighter hasn't been a technical fighter since Third Strike (probably the least popular Street Fighting game with the newcomers). If you saw the Evo finals, it shows you how cheap that SFXTekken game was and can be especially if the person playing that game is cheap. DOA is easy to play and easy to master. I notice that in my group of friends as well that the people who always lose in tekken or Guilty Gear and KOF always try to get me to fight them in DOA for revenge (LOL). If I couldn't insult that game any further I would say it was a medium learning curve to master at best. One good thing I'll say about it is that DOA always had the best graphics, but really some of the dumbest looking characters and uninspired concept design for their Forrest Law and and Bruce rip off characters.
