Not bad indeed, it's a Mario game so it's bound to be a lot of fun.

I do think New Super Mario Bros. 2 looks better (as a game, not graphics), but I think it's the more 'competitive' nature of that game that appeals to me, along with the 'newness' of the gameplay with the coins-mechanic.

I miss something like that in this game, it seems the same as the DS version and the Wii version with just an extra power-up here and there.

The asymmetric element seems to me to balance out the problems that existed in NSMBWii, whereby some platforms were just too small or fast-moving for four players to effectively utilize

The game looks as much fun as always... I really want to play that!

I probably won't care too much about the touch-pad implementation in this game, as I didn't care about multiplayer in NSMB Wii, but I think a lot of people will. The game in its traditional sense, however, looks really good. The graphics (particularly some of the later levels in the trailers we've seen), look fine; even if I still think that Rayman looks a bit prettier.

Needless to say, day one purchase for me.

i know the grafix could be a lot better, but i like them because of its simple beauty

The spinning star stage looks really badass, love the homage to Mario 3 with the piranha thingys and the music boxes. Don't really care about the asymmetrical gameplay one way or the other. What I am excited about is the game itself. Classic Mario games do not disappoint, and this looks at least as good, and dare I say far better than NSMB Wii.

I like the confirmation on being able to play through the game without a tv.

Graphics are perfect for the game, looks beautiful!!! I'm, somehow, excited for the asymmetric gameplay cause I play Mario w my friends and this could be really fun! I'm really excited for the WiiU, can not wait to finally have it!!!

I'm not understanding this asymmetrical gameplay everyone is talking about. What exactly is it?
