How is ice Climbers? Is it any good? Is it like Kid Icarus?

Yeah that game is pretty great, I completed it 3 months ago when they were giving it out for free on the 3DS. It's pretty tough, too hard for modern gamers. Here's some advice, whenever you enter a shop hold down start and you can sometimes get the shop keeper to lower the prices it can also have the opposite effect sometimes as well. Also whenever you get to a trial make sure you complete it because you get weapon upgrades.

I haven't played it in a very long time but from what I remember, Ice Climbers is infuriating. Your character can jump very high but when it comes to jumping left or right, he moves very little which can get tricky when dealing with moving platforms.

The game is very simple and doesn't really ressemble Kid Icarus. You have to climb to the top of the stage destroying the floors over your head while fighting birds and monsters that repair the floor tiles you destroy.

Ice Climbers is entirely skippable...

Nintendo gives it far mroe lvoe than it deserves...

The controls are terrible...

Kid Icarus, on the other hand, is one of my favorite NES games...

I don't think I'll ever beat it, but it's fantastic...

I was never able to get into the NES Kid Icarus or Ice Climbers ; although I do love the idea of the characters of both series.

On 3DS - Kid Icarus Uprising is my favourite game since Mario Kart 3D on all platforms.

Isn't it supposed to be a vary, very hard game? I could never enjoy a game like that. xD

You should play the 3ds one too, it´s amazing

Sounds like a fun game. Unfortunately when I had the NES the only games I had were Mario.(Which were fun but I should have varied my experience.)
