Don't trade the 3ds, sell it on cragislist. Trust me, I was in the same position as you. Sold It got my vita and never looked back. People can argue all they want about games, that just subjective. But what we can't argue about is the vita kicks it as in everything else. You have a mini tablet when you buy a vita, and that end seems to be getting better every month. Skype, Netflix, YouTube, Facebook, all major must haves are there, the web browser is pretty good, but I'm hopping for firefox. Not to mention the psn network kills nintendos. Want a large libary of rpg? Theres some really good ones you can down load for the psp, and they look great on the vitas screen.

Since it's just sitting there, exchange it if it doesn't cost you much. I mean, even if you only play the one game and then it will gather dust, overall you would have enjoyed DOUBLE the number of games on your handhelds over a period of say 6 months instead of one. Just don't loose too much money on it.

yes cause skpye, netflix youtube and facebook is what you get a gamign system for lol.

most people have a smart phone anyway so it is jsut as easy to use your phone for the non essential functions like those.

So you need a good dust extractor and the 3DS isn't up to scratch?

Yeah, buy a Vita it will definately collect more dust.

How about buying a proper dust extractor?

Wii U Nintendo Network ID, Borode

XBOX Live ID, Borode

Well if I wasn't on my smart Phone now I'd be able to quote you by using the vita, which I can't do on my iPhone. SO what's your point, not everyone has a smart phone, and I'm about to ditch mine. What does it hurt to have apps? It's only a plus. Your acting like it didn't have games, or are you one of those people that really believe that?

I would wait till TGS and see how their future line ups compare.

Yes, do it. Absolutely. Do it naoooooo!

Anyway, in all seriousness, if you're in doubt here's a list of games you might be interested in, so you can decide. Most of these have released or will release this year. Since you like RPGs, I'll list those first (most are remakes though).

Disgaea 3
Persona 4
Ragnarok Odyssey
Shin Megami Tensei
Y's IV
Final Fantasy X HD
Tales of Inocence R

Plus loads of cheap PSP RPGs (and other games) you can download and look great on Vita. Check them out here: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=316058

Non-RPG:

Uncharted: Golden Abyss.
Gravity Rush
Metal Gear Solid HD
LittleBigPlanet
Assassin's Creed III Liberations
Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified
Bioshock something
FIFA/Madden
PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale
Soul Sacrifice
Wipeout 2048
Zone of the Enders

If you're not interested in 3-4 of these then wait before you decide to trade your 3DS.

No troll is too much for me to handle. I rehabilitate trolls, I train people. I am the Troll Whisperer.

If none of the current and upcoming 3DS games interest you, then yeah; get a PSVITA.

If its RPG you're into, there's Tales of the Abyss out now, Devil Survivor Overclock out now...ummm... meh, don't really know but the DS does have a whole bunch of RPGs ripe for the picking.

Of course, if you prefer pretty graphics, the Vita has...ummm... Disgaea 3 and, um.... Ragnarok Odyssey is releasing in August and there's a whole bunch of PSP RPGs available on the PS Vita store.

It all boils down to what you're looking for.

But personally, I chose to buy a Vita over rebuying a 3DS and I'm very glad of my decision. Gravity Rush is a blast and I'm on my third playthrough now.
