Monster Hunted on the Vita would've been much better. I would love to see Capcom harness the Vitas power. I dont even want a 3DS so yeah, one game  isn't getting me to buy a 3DS.

And I remember all of this because I simply have a good memory. No worry, I don't stalk people, I just rarely forget what I read. The Euro football final currently takes place and I exactly remember what barozi and I where discussing four years ago when our German national team just had lost the 2008 Euro final to Spain (the team which will win the title again today). Also, I read way more than I post. When you'll be making your post # 10.000 in a few days (hours?) after only around 8 months as VGC member, I'll be at # 3.770 or something like that after more than 5 years on the site. See i dont really agree with some of this, just because you are not willing to buy a system just for one game doesnt mean that person isnt a true fan. My firend loves RE, he bought just about all of them. THose weird online ones for PS2 and thsoe silly rail shooters and im not talking about the Wii/PS3 ones either.  But he's not gonna buy a 3DS just for one game. I dont even think he has the funds to do so. But he didnt insuly 3DS with talks of specs, thats were the fanboynish comes from

2nd your entire second paragraph is nonsense. There is NO better version of MH4, thats the entire point. If your a fan of that franchise and want to play the newest game, you have only two choices, buy the damn 3DS or dont. its really simple. its obvious you are not the one getting it. BUt i look forward to seeing how you counter this.

I think this is more of a debate on what constitutes a real fan, and I agree that it's possible for a real fan to not bash a system and not buy the game their a fan of on a console just for one game.  It really depends on many things, but I think this topic isn't about those people.  It's about the ones who ARE doing the bashing.  

You are a pure example of OP. Hats off. On top of that, you again moved the goalposts. The point isn't to justify my owning a weaker machine, the point is to say some people will not follow a series because it is not on their favored platform and make excuses for it (you included).

The point is, if you are a fan of a franchise, a TRUE fan, will you ignore it just because it is on a weaker platform from a graphics standpoint only (as your last point 4 mentioned, all a bunch of BS the rest was)? No, you wouldn't. But keep telling yourself it's Capcom's fault, keep on doing just that.
