Forums - Nintendo - I just preordered Heroes of Ruin on a whim

On a whim I preordered Heroes of Ruin from Amazon.  They have the game currently on sale for only 29.99 if you pre-order it.  The funny thing is that I've pretty much only watched the preview vid they had on GT last night and don't know much about it, but it looked awesome.  It started with me trying to get over the 25$ mark, anyone else ever find themselves in the same position?

Good move, it looks like a solid game and hopefully you'll find people online to play with.

Apparently the demo will be releasing in NA next week, so I'll give it a try then.

Very much looking forward to it.

Well I pre-ordered Watch_Dogs 2 days ago on Zavvi

It's a pretty good game. You made the right choice.

Supposedly it is a diablo type game. You can either play online or by yourself. If you play on line be ready to change the settings so that the other four players do not play the game for you or take all your loot. Other than that and mediocre graphics it is supposed to be a really good game that will give you 15-30 hours of playtime.

this was a big reason for me wanting the game, because I wanted to play with my buddy from back home.

I own the game, already beat it at 100% with one character, took me 18h, its a good game, ill make you a small review..

the goods:
the art and cut scenes are great, the 3D effect is good
the multiplayer works great
the daily/weekly miniquests add a lot to the game
the character customization is great
the game lasts 15h minimum with each character

the bad:
the story is not bad, but is very simple
the framerates issues
the textures are mostly crap
the game is a bit on the easy side

Just make sure you guys plan in adance who will get what. Kind of like diablo or gauntlet legends. If not he could end up beating parts of the game for you or taking all your items. I usually go on a switch off sort of thing.

well if it's kinda like PSO I'll be fine with it

Is it like children of mana for the ds? That was one of my favorite games for the portable even if it felt like something was off throughout the entire game.
