http://andriasang.com/con1pd/3ds_circle_pad_expansion/ The system isn't even released yet! Why not just include it directly like everyone wants you to?

Am I the only one who feels like Nintendo is nickle and diming us, not to mention that this will make 3DS XL even less portable?

Because Nintendo handheld games are never going to incorporate the second stick.

Not ever.

Kid Icarus: Uprising does.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I think that's a bit too soon, considering the release of the 3DS was just last year.

theyve already said they are working on a new hw...
also remember how the DS came just 3 years after the Gba

Almost 50/50!? Nintendo fanboys here are unbelievable... Not including a second analog stick is inexcusable, but they are very imaginative to argue in its defense. Of course, they will still defend Nintendo when they inevitably include the second stick in the next redisign.

People like you think that companies like Nintendo are full of stupid people that make mistakes all the time, especially the very dumb and obvious ones.  Truth is, Nintendo didn't add the 2nd circle pad for some very good reasons, you just are too closed-minded to even imagine what those reasons are, and call them ridiculous or "just excuses."

That would just as well be like me saying that the reason the PS Vita isn't selling well is because it's an inferior machine, and there are no excuses and Sony fanboys are going to defend all of Sony's decisions, no matter what.  I don't believe that, but it's an equivalent in logic.  Some people think that the PS Vita's lack in hardware sales is due to some obvious mistake, such as this "lack of second circle pad."  I think you should think more deeply about how and why businesses make decisions like these.

I don't think Nintendo is trying to bleed us dry by not adding a circle pad and making the CPP for the 3DS XL, but I'd rather not explain myself as it has been said numerous times here and this Naninho guy would just say the same thing over and over again.  This debate will go on forever, as long as people have unwavering support for either side.

Wow, take it easy man... "People like you", "closed-minded", "this Naninho guy would just say the same thing over and over again". You don't know me, so calm down...

And no, I don't think Nintendo is full of stupid people, quite the opposite. For them, this is a pretty smart decision: this way, they can still make money from a peripheral. Also, The less features they add to the new hardware, more features they can implement in the next iteration. It's just perfect!

Now, from a consumer point of view, this is indefensible. If you don't have a 3DS, you should be able to buy a complete system directly. If you have one and want to update, you should be able to select between the peripheral or the new, more complete system.

Nintendo is harming consumers to maximize profits, and the not inclusion of the AC adapter in Europe and Japan is the perfect example of it. 'Pay the same for less'. You just don't want to see it...

"PS Vita isn't selling well is because it's an inferior machine(...)" That's an stupid analogy. A more consistent one would be Sony ripping off its consumers with the mandatory memory cards, wich aren't included with the PSVITA.

Closed-minded... I don't know why you said that. I have a Wii and I love most Nintendo games. Was it because what I said is different than what you think? That says more about your mind...

I could have sworn people wanted this >.>

'you should be able to buy a complete system directly.'

it would still be an incomplete system without the ZR and ZL shoulder buttons. so your point is kind of moot.

Also the adapter thing is a non issue. if you need one buy one, it will be there avaialble for you.  so why not save a few $$ for people who aready got one?

Yeah, I forgot to explicitly mention those. With "complete system" I was trying to refer to the complete system (shoulders included). After all, they're clearly not interested in portability with this iteration...

As for the AC adapter, it's not the consumer who saves money. Nintendo is.

but there are people already complaining about the regular 3DS being to thick, so adding the extra buttons would cause chaos and the world would be doomed according to those people.

I still think its not as bad considering nyko has one that fits liek a glove and has extra battery pack, which the 3DS needs anyway for long term gaming.
