I personally think the original 3ds is fine, when I saw the 3dsxl I thought the 3ds screen was tiny, but I was playing revelations last night and thought to myself the screen size is just fine

I think that it would be unwise, because there is now increase in the resolution, so the graphics will look worse than before

I'll keep my 3DS at least until I see the XL in person and what improvements it has. I don't have a problem with the 3DS's battery life but I never was a fan of those non-buttons they use for select/start/home. If anything, I'll probably be buying that third party circle pad pro with the improved battery. It looks like a real winner.

It the XL has a much better screen (compared to the Vita, the 3DS colors look washed out), I may be singing a different tune.

The 1-1 pixel is to scale more apropiately the screen resolution of previous handheld games (DS/VC).  3DS games have the same resolution as before, but now will be displayed in a bigger screen, which means more blurry/jaggied graphics.

Since I can transfer my Ambassador titles from my old one to an XL, I very possibly might. Get the superior XL while simultaneously getting to have all my Ambassador titles? Win/win!

The resolution is the same, only the size of the screen is increased two-fold.  So all it will do is make the game look a little more blurry and pixelated.  But, the native resolution is high enough for the 3DS that it will still look alright on a bigger screen.

3DS needed a bigger screen, though.  3 1/2 inches is unacceptable in this day and age.

Nope, no chance. The original 3ds can quite comfortably fit in my pocket. The XL is a little too big for me personally.

Not a chance in hell, i actually like the size of the 3ds, I like my portable consoles to be able to fit in my damn pockets. And there doesnt really seem to be an improvement over the regular one.

I'm buying one eventualy. Saving my money for the wii u currently.
