I'm liking the love Nintendo of Europe is giving the series. DS games released, Wii version just announced... I think the 3DS games are just a matter of time.

Inazuma announced for this fall... wth is with the 3DS this year! Unbelievable. AC and NSMB2 will concur the holidays with soooo many side titles. One of them, Project X-Zone, looks to be a major hit! Japanese will eat this up.. 500k+ seller? Also we won't know the impact of Brain Age 3, will it be influential or is the Brain age effect dead?

Well tbh, great time to own a 3DS, especially in Japan!

Btw is Prof Layton vs Phoenix Wright this year in Japan? I need that game!

Wow and I thought those Tsubasa Animes were over the top. Did they even play football in this trailer? For someone like me this looks like some sort of Digimon/Power Rangers/Dragon Ball crossover^^

Well, let's see how the XL will perform. Who knows. But even if it doesn't beat the DS, it won't make a fool of itself, no way.

Well, so far yes, Layton vs Ace Attoney is still TBA 2012 - but I think it's hard for it to make it. Too bad, the series has a yearly release schedule since 2008... but I believe the 6th Layton is already in the making too.

Make a fool out of itself?! :P DS's 2006  was the record year for any gaming console at 8.4 mil, second was the DS in 2007 for 7 mil.. 3rd was PS at around 5 mil. In comparison any console that sells more than 3 mil a year in Japan is considered as a successful year. That's how beastly the DS was in Japan! Nothing comes close to it..

It's at least gonna beat the PS this year most definitely, I can see it doing 5-6 mil this year easy.. but the NSMB+Xmas effect well skyrocket the numbers most definitely.

Etrian Oddysey and Taiko Drum Master released! Both behaved exactly like its previous peers, which is great (but unsurprising)!

LBX released too, sold better than the PSP version sold last year, amazing - pretty much confirmed the sequel for next year, probably an updated version like the first. Next is Rune Fatory, which I think will do great! Let's hope is surpass previous numbers of the series:

Finally, some new commercials for the XL featuring Monster Hunter 3G (bring this fucker, Capcom looks gorgeous!!!) and... Monster Hunter 4... whaaaa?

That will surely help the cause!

Is it possible a 3rd generation of 3DS is in the works ?

Or is Nintendo working already on the 4DS ?
