This just confirms that it's true even more. $299 nextbox incoming.

Keep in mind that was their target price in 2010, based on this document.

I think they've already made some changes that may affect that price point.

Primarily, all rumors now show PowerPC CPUs vs ARM based CPUs. This is a big difference as it removes the need to have 360s CPU along with the ARM processors but the PPC CPUs cost more than ARM. There is surely other changes as various components become more of fact vs planned.

However, I do think a $299 base model is a 50/50 shot with a $379 or $399 high end model.

There aren't any rumors about an AMD CPU anymore? How sad.

I don't think neXtBox ever had an AMD rumor. PS4 has them and they are still the main rumors.

It's already known to been taken down from MS associates (lawfirm) to protect their property. But it was released to take down the doc. to not send any false information to the public to avoid any future confusion. As that can be very troublesome for the company to sell units on day 1 if people are shocked for instance the consoles initial cost in retail stores (via confusion). If people expect it to be $300, and it comes out at $400-$500, can mean big problems out of the gate for MicroSoft.

As a company like Sony of MicroSoft, they want hype for their future console, but it stops there.

Reading into the document anymore is all redflags. No one confirmed of denied the document to be real or fake. They just wanted to avoid issues, and it's clear. MicroSoft does not want to go into the next generation by any means right now. They are focused to sell as many 360's as possible until they are close to releasing the console to retail.

Oh. But then how come you said "Primarily, all rumors now show PowerPC CPUs vs ARM based CPUs." as if there used to be other alternatives?

ARM is not AMD. ARM is a CPU architecture (Intel and AMD use x86 architecture primarily) and is used profoundly in mobile products.

There are no redflags. The document is 100% authentic.

I'm wondering, why do you capitalize the s in Microsoft?

lol I know that, dummy.

Confusion. I'll try something else. Can you please clarify what you meant by this line and we'll take it from there:

"Primarily, all rumors now show PowerPC CPUs vs ARM based CPUs"

I don't know.. Just like doing it, maybe because of the abbreviation for MS. LOL^_^
