Forums - Sales - 6 PS3 Million sellers...

Good to see PS3 finakly starting to get some games up to the platinum level. This is going to be a great year for million sellers on the PS3, as of now I can think of 30+ games that will pass a million this year. I am sure buy June we will not be seeing PS3 million sellers posted every time they come. Right now they get posted because PS3 fans are sick of hereing about how the PS3 can not sell games, by people that refuse to understand that if the PS3 sells400k units of a game in the US and the 360 sells 1.2 million that it is the same market penetration.



Stop hate, let others live the life they were given. Everyone has their problems, and no one should have to feel ashamed for the way they were born. Be proud of who you are, encourage others to be proud of themselves. Learn, research, absorb everything around you. Nothing is meaningless, a purpose is placed on everything no matter how you perceive it. Discover how to love, and share that love with everything that you encounter. well it has a small amount of million sellers compared to 360 and wii because of the install base. Once the install base is 12M then there will be a lot more million sellers.

To be fair, several games don't have their European figures posted, Eye of Judgement and Folklore for example have been on sale in Europe for ages and have 0 sales here.

I'm really disappointed that R&C sales are so low. The game is just so good.

I think Sony will keep selling it throughout the year, besides I would expect the game to get oaccasional boosts with big releases like MGS4.

Plus, it comes bundles now. It will get there, but it will take time.

What record?  Just give PS3 developers and gamers some credit.  I won't be surprised to see much more PS3 million sellers later this year.

Besides, among those 6, 3 of them are new IP and they are all very good.  That is very encouraging.

Wii has 15 games reach million sellers, but how many of them are new IP?

 It's not just the PS3, there are undertracked games across all platforms if it makes you sleep better at night. ioi himself has said that plenty of games have incomplete data and he only has accurate data for some 80 games or so at the moment. So no need for the sad puppy face, the site is a work in progress and is full of innacurate data and even the owner knows it.
