don't get me wrong guys, i really like the game but we already have pikmin 3 and i think nintendo should let Platinum
develop something else for the wii u like another new ip or star fox game

"Lets platinum develop"? Platinum games is developing what they want. Nintendo didn't ask them to make this nor tell them not to.

What does this game have to do with Pikmin aside from them both featuring a form of group management?

Okay ill e getting this at launch. Also yes it only has the group thing in common with Pikmin to me.

This game looks amazing. Nintendo obviously has a lot of faith in it as they are publishing the game, which makes it even more baffling that it wasn't featured at their E3 press conference.

This could become a system seller for me. I get the good old Arcade feel from it.

But I'm still crossing my fingers for a sequel to Eternal Darkness. That would seal the deal.

Pikmin 3 and this game day 1, that's really awesome. This game has more of a Little King's Story feel to it to me, and I loved that game. P-100 is really shaping up nicely.

It is graphically crisp, but it won't gain too much interest I fear.

Can't say I'm not disappointed; when I heard 'Platinum Games' was creating something, this is one of the last type of games I wanted to see. It is in an awkward niche where it looks less intense then the games older people are usually into, yet it is too hard for average child gamers.

I'm sorry what does this game have to do with pikmin 3 at all? Because there are a lot of characters on screen? 

In Pikmin you have to manage the pikmin. It's a strategy game. Whereas this is an action game. You don't have to manage the other characters. They are really just a visual thing. You don't have to select them and then issue commands. It's just press the 'block' button to turn into pudding and deflect attacks. Press the attack button to turn into a fist etc. I guess vaguely the drawing lines stuff is management but it's still very much a totally different genre.

On topic. Platinum Games = I will buy it.
