it os an overrated just like every other blizzard title

Warcraft II isn't overrated.

Warcraft II is awesome.

As for the poll: Haven't played it yet. I don't want to buy a game that requires online for single player, it's an awful precedent.

I think it is quite awesome, but Inferno is just complete bullshit. I had no issues getting through inferno act 1, dying a couple times. I'm even able to have magic find gear on, and grind my way through inferno act 1 now that I have gotten better (although some people still piss me right off).

Act 2 inferno is an entirely different story. I have used magic find gear for 4 or 5 playthroughs of act 1 inferno already (I know, that isn't a ton, but it still is enough), and nothing I find matches the gear I currently have (which was all bought for 10k gold or less on the auction house or given to me by my buddies). The fact that the game even drops a level 52 rare item on occasion is just plain stupid. It would be better off just dropping nothing.

And my problem isn't with normal units. They can generally be avoided or kited until you kill them. It is the b.s. affixes that special units get. How in the hell is it fair for a unit to have Fast, Vortex, Waller, & (Fill in Massive DPS Move). You can't run from them, and they proceed to vortex you into their series of walls you can't get out, and you die instantly. Nothing about that is skill, it is just dumb.

On that note, I will give the game 8/10. The server issues anger me on occasion, and Inferno needs some fixing for sure, but it is an excellent game regardless of that.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

I can comfortably say that the always-on DRM is a big enough SNAFU that I'm not picking the game up so long as it exists.

If it's never taken off, well - I guess I'll just need to play somethign else.

Well, you might as well go play something else, because people complained about SC2 as well, and nothing has changed with that (this just went a little step further)

wait wait required online for singleplayer? meh i will be sticking with diablo 2 then

I gave it 8/10. It just seems like they meshed it with WoW too much. Compare D2 to D3, it has so many things that seem.... too WoWish.... I'm on inferno Act II and I've killed Magda. Have minimal urge to go on anymore.

By the way... is there PVP in diablo 3 and I just don't know it?

Cause, I don't understand the nerfs and rebalancing if there isn't.

What's the point?

Quoting a famous phrase by Blizzard, PVP "will be done when it's done". There isn't PVP and there's no date as to when it's coming out, all that we know is that it's going to be Arena based and have a gear check so you get paired with similar gear players.

The point of the nerfs is because they don't want a lot of people finishing or farming Inferno on Act IV, because that would ruin the RMAH purpose.

But a few posts above you said that a lvl 63 with good gear will easily beat Inferno?

Exactly.  And pretty much the only way you will get great level 63 gear is out of absolute luck, gold farm a LOT, or give Blizzard some hard earned cash of yours.

As far as I know only 1 person beat Diablo on inferno - and he did it with a hardcore barbarian! And I get 1 out of 5 drops as lvl 63 blue items just in act 1 inferno (mostly crap though) with 5 valor(170mf). I have gotten most of my lvl 53 gear(yellow) myself in act 1 inferno.
