Those two are the best 3DS games to me, so you made great choices.
But I recommend Resident Evil Revelations and Starfox too. Both great games. Coincidentally (or not) the best 3D effects are found in those 4 games.

Oh yes, I had forgotten about StarFox!!! THat I need to get since I totally missed it on the 64... But the rest of the lot isn't that interesting to me...

Really? Revelations is the best Resi game in a decade, TotA is a classic 100-hour JRPG epic, Rythm Theif is a Elite Beat Agents/Professor Layton crossover, and Mario Kart is, well...Mario Kart.

To be honest I haven't played a single Resi game =/ TotA I've never heard of (and the only JRPG I've played is Xeno - which is awesome), rythm games are only fun when played together and Layton... wel who the eff is Layton? :P

it's a interesting and brave game and one that i can see many getting losed in simply because of it's addictive gameplay mechanic..

Theatrythm Final Fantasy and Kingdom hearts 3D are coming out in the next month aswell. There definitly is no shortage of software anymore.
For those liking fighters DoA Dimensions is pretty good aswell.

Agreed, but they haven't come out yet, nor have I played DoA (more SSFIV for me!) so I cannot judge fairly on their quality ;)
