Games I want for the Wii U thus far:

  • New Super Mario Bros. U (Duh.)
  • Batman: Arkham City Armored Edition (Beat the game in one sitting last year. Can't wait to play it again.)
  • ZombiU (Looks unique, fun, and terrifying.)
  • Rayman Legends (That art style. That 2D Platforming. Mm mm good!)
  • NintendoLand (Really looks like a fun time with friends every time you play.)
  • Pikmin 3 (I'm actually not a huge Pikmin fan, but it's still a series that I've enjoyed in the past.)
  • Trine 2: Director's Cut (I've heard so many good things about this game... I've got to give it a try.)
  • Assassin's Creed III (I've never been one for AC, but I'm loving the frontier and seaside elements.)
  • Aliens: Colonial Marines (I'm a pretty big Aliens fan, and the game looks like a blast.)
  • NBA 2K13 (Big basketball fan, and the series has always been a quality one.)
  • Wii Fit U (The first and Plus were great experiences. Can't wait to have fun while burning some calories.)

And those are just the games I know I'll be getting. That's fantastic stuff right there. Very excited. ^_^

Yep, same here. I wanted to wait for a while but it looks like I'll be jumping right in again. But please stop promoting it, it took 3 months of staring at the zelda TP box before I could finally get hold of the Wii console. Hopefully it won't sell out this time.

WiiU is gonna be crap, don't buy it, stay away all of you! ;)

My feelings are that of #2 but actions will be like #1...

Look Im a N fan to the bone, but I just want them to future proof the sumbich. Really, there is no excuses after making all that bank on Wii & reestablishing themselves as a factor in the home console market. They need to realize that many of their fans are also purchasing other consoles to get their 3rd party fix. So all that $ spent on competitors HW & SW, could be allocated toward N if they build the right machine. That's why my enthusiasm isn't where it should be, I need to know the guts of U.

Getting more excited about it as I see more footage of it in action, though I'm still not fully convinced on the tablet controller. I think it could be helpful for basic things like map screens, stats, weapon/item selections, etc, but I just hope they don't get too gimmicky with it. With that said though, it boils down to the games, and so far the library looks strong. NSMB U, Pikmin 3, Rayman Legends, Assassin's Creed 3, ZombiU, P-100, Batman Arkham City, and that's only launch.

It excites me less than the Virtual Boy excited me in the 1990s. At this point, since it plays Wii games, I may get it if both of my Wiis break.

Pikmin 3 excites me greatly, but the system itself doesn't.
Nintendo really hasn't shown us anything amazing that "sells" the system.
They sold me on 3ds, and after skipping the ds, I bought one because of the amazing games I saw coming to it.
They have not sold me on Wii U. But I will still buy it at some point for pikmin 3.

I'll eventually buy one but they need to give me at least three exclusives worthy of paying for. So far they announced Pikimin 3, so I am waiting for two more. ZombiU seems interesting, something I would buy, but not a system seller.
