So MS gives up in Europe (except UK) and Japan?

yup,just like nintendo

And THQ...

And Sega...

Gamescom is getting out of control these days. Last year you had to stand in line for BF3 for 6 hours. I have been there 3 times and won't go again. I am a nerd, I am from Germany, I do have a car / money to attend and all that, but it is just not fun anymore.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Thats why they are in new trade shows? Maybe to show off new games?

Maybe thats too big of a leap for you, let me step back a little.

Also you are beginning to see the downfall of electronic trade shows, their purpose is quickly fading with the advent of the internet, twitter and instant information. No real need to showcase when you can have a big audience at pretty much any given time.

The Internet is likely a big factor in this.  Nintendo even went with pre-E3 regarding the WiiU, with Iwata going bananas in that.  If you see Nintendo do the full release news on Internet, that tells you something.  Intro of "All-Access" is probably a sign here also of something.

Then I'm not going there either. Horrible line-up this year.

@DirtyP

I guess that was a Saturday ? I was there twice on a Saturday (2 years ago and in Leipzig 2007) and those days were horrible. Just go on another day if you can manage that.

I planned to go on a Thursday last year but I had no ride to Cologne and going alone sucks.

Not when your competitors fail to show up.

Sony Santa Monica also just stated that they have (2) more projects in development that have yet to be revealed, plus we don't know what Guerilla is working on, plus I don't think we saw Media Molecule's new title yet either. Vita had little presence at E3, so it may take the spotlight here. Maybe concrete info on the Vita Call of Duty?

Sony also just sent out a survey that teases a Gran Turismo for Vita.

Do your homework bro.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Which is why they have much, much more than that to show.

How on Earth are you still on this forum with your constant hit and run posts?

What was announced in Gamescon last year?

People say it's big, but I don't remember it being big - especially with new things.
Someone educate me, please
