i'm not sure i fully follow what you said but...

we don't track digital.  vgc adjusted halo 3 and i think alan wake to not include digital sales.  ergo we shouldn't here either to be consistant.  when sony or whoever gives numbers they often give a combined number meaning vgc numbers will look undertracked for games availible digitally also. 

so in short, as ps360 have started to get into digital, vita has fully embraced digital, and soon wii U, ps4, xboxNext will follow suit ... vgc's numbers will quickly go from sketchy to irrelevant. 

Is there even a digital version of God of War 3?

i think so, i don't know for sure but most sony first party is.  didn't they launch GoW 3 along side GoW 1 and 2 and chains of olympus and ghost of sparta?

I doubt anyone would download a 30+ gigabyte game even if it was available....which it is not...

VGchartz is trolling GOW fans, or so it seems.

We all now that GOWIII should be around 5M or a bit more, so really I dont care about the sales of GOW games on this site anymore, after being witness of all the debacle surrounding them.

lol... you act as if VGC have a secret agenda against god of war fans...

In truth, its just the inaccuracy of their tracking... but to be fair, I suppose Asian and European regions are difficult to track.

I don´t understand why God of War fans are so upset. It are just sales numbers why does this insult you? I am a God of War fan as well but I don´t give a fuck how many games GoW3 sold I know it was a hug success that is everything that matters to me. Why are you upset with this numbers?

so after over two years, gow3 has 700,000 copies on shelves. i doubt that. i agree with the user earlier, ioi has a serious grudge against god of war.

a similar fiasco happened in the winter on 2010. uncharted 2 & gow3 were doing phenomenal numbers week in and week out, topping the chartz every week. it was my sole joy that holiday, because the ps3 was getting its ass kicked in hardware sales. it was nice to see two ps3 exclusives doing so well. then they were both heavily adjusted down. i was hurt.

now vgc is doing it again. why did they raise gow3 numbers, if were going to bring them back down? to troll gow3 fans? i think so. if vgc doesnt get his shit together and SOON, i swear to the almighty zeus, that ill leave vgc and never return again!
