Forums - Nintendo - Ubisoft explains why Assassin's Creed III will be better on Wii U

Welcome to The NEXT GENERATION!

Wii U Nintendo Network ID, Borode

XBOX Live ID, Borode

I've honestly never been that interested in the Assassin's Creed series, but III really interests me with it's wilderness setting (honestly reminds me of Skyrim, which is never a bad thing ) and a more recent historical setting that's a bit more relatable (Americuh!).

Also, as "small" as a constant map system seems for some, I know what a big difference it can make for players since playing the DS Castlevania games. It's such a nice addition.

Looking forward to it.

Cool stuff! Sony and MS need to make controllers like it and I will buy!!!

Impossible! They will not be able to keep up with the Wii U, so you will have to just wait until the 720 and PS4 comes out. Sorry to dissapoint Choco.

Sony already has such a controller with the PS-Vita and PS3 combination. I think they should go ahead and make a Luigi's Mansion Ghost type mini-game for free/cheap distribution to let people know they can do it and also let people realize it's not an experience that is worth buying a new console and bunch of controllers.

Castlevania is the perfect example.

But Zelda Phantom Hourglass is the Scarlett Johanson example.

You do realize how contradictory that is, right? I mean, you'd have to buy a new console in Sony's example too, the Vita.

The sea battles looked cool (extremely unrealistic but cool) so I'm mildly interested in it. I'm much more interested in Super Mario Bros., Pikmin 3 and Rayman Legends though, so it's definitely not a Day 1.

Honestly, I see this tablet controller as being a very exciting concept for reasons such as this

Nintendo has repeatedly been saying that people have to get more familiar with it, and try it, to see the real advantage it offers.  What you see a numerous naysayers on forums like this, who keep bashing it.  Or, they go the other way, and say SmartGlass is a killer of it, and so on.

Also i've seen the comparison from PS3 to from WiiU and it has the only graphics things more, the WiiU, that i consider: more detail and more colors.

Its definitly a good feature because you're contantly having to pull up your map to get around on assassins creed.

It will mean better orientation and more playing and less loading of the map. Its why the concept was already good on the DS dual screens. It makes gaming more seamless.

I was expecting some exclusive Wii-U in game content :/

What they should do is have some exclusive bit of gameplay that actually references Zelda. It would be a great matchup, in terms of IP reference.
