I've honestly never been that interested in the Assassin's Creed series, but III really interests me with it's wilderness setting (honestly reminds me of Skyrim, which is never a bad thing 
) and a more recent historical setting that's a bit more relatable (Americuh!).
Also, as "small" as a constant map system seems for some, I know what a big difference it can make for players since playing the DS Castlevania games. It's such a nice addition.
