Last year on 7th of January X360 dropped around 20%, on 15th around 10% and also around 10% on 22th.
This year on 6th of January X360 dropped around 40% and almost 50% on 13th of January.
Why is it dropping that much faster this year?

well.. as long as Sony keeps selling a touch more then the 360 they will slowly creep on the 360's overall sales. They are gaining a strong foot hold, slowly. |

Availability. MS shipped out far more to retailers 4th qtr 2006 to hit the 10 million mark. They did not do this in 4th qtr 2007. Still very difficult to find premiums and elites.
Libraries sell systems not individual games

I think the creeping will escalate to walking near May, and then proceed to a full out dash by end of summer.
