Another DS classic that could work on the Wii U are card games (very Nintendoish). My most played Clubhouse Game is Seven, really like the stylus control in that game and the gamepad is able to support it at a higher resolution. With the current market I don't believe you can sell these at retail, but standalone eShop titles would work great, and I'd get Seven again for the Wii U if I could. Still play card games with friends and family, very typical thing in Spain, we have our own deck and games - if Nintendo releases those... ten times better than Seven. Mus, Brisca, Tute, Chinchon, Escoba... uffff!
And then you have board games. We saw Othello on the demo reel at last years E3.
With two gamepads you have Battleships or Guess Who :P
