I thought 9 mil for 1 year... 12 for life time
Yay!!!

| 13 million | 14 | 5.49% | |
| 12 million | 44 | 17.25% | |
| 11 million | 21 | 8.24% | |
| 10 million | 43 | 16.86% | |
| 9 million | 16 | 6.27% | |
| 8 million | 17 | 6.67% | |
| 5-7 million | 35 | 13.73% | |
| Total: | 253 | ||
hard to say. many will wait to read reviews because it's a new studio. if reviews will be positive/negative about things some don't really like, it could sell worse than expected. if they will have plenty of stuff many will like who weren't fans of reach, sales could be higher than expected. i have no clue how much advertisement microsoft will place all around america and europe. they will have a lot of that but as example i did never see advertisement on tv in germany, only for halo 3 if i'm correct and really only one time. if they start to advertise it more in countries like germany as well, sales could get a boost in these countries compared to previous halos. and i have no clue how much it will have sold until nextgen will release because of the smaller legs then.
i say 10 million.
I read the poll wrong. I thought it said 'end-of-year', not 'life-time'. I accidentally voted for 5-7m
Absolutely no chance to beat Halo 3 lifetime (as games become ever more frontloaded 1st week sales are a different thing. I don't care.). Anybody who thinks this can outsell Halo 3 is fooling himself.
First we have the generation effect. It comes very late in a generation.
Then we have the competition (which I think is the reason for the slight downward trend of Halo games). Call of Duty will steal more sales from Halo 4 than what it did from Halo 3.
And thirdly, while the game looks graphically very nice (but so does the competition) I see no other reasons for it to be perceived as better than Halo 3. It's impossible to beat that 94% Meta of Halo 3 (for comparison Reach got 91%).
9 million lifetime.

i was going to say halo 3 had to compete against the orange box but it seems like that didn't sell even close to what i thought...btw i did not see a downward trend yet. odst was something totally different with no real new multi-player and reach was something different as well. it could be that trend and we will see it when halo 4 will release but i don't think reach or odst are good indicators.

At least they're some indicators. Plus the Combat Evolved remake had abysmal sales which I was very disappointed in.

i stll see no indicators^^ i'm a huge halo fan, i played even reach 500 hours or so with a huge break when i didn't play any game but didn't buy the remake because i saw no reason. i hate these remakes...they can only destroy your great memory about games you loved. maybe you will like them but maybe you will think "omg what a fuck" and odst sold even more than i expected because of the lack of multi-player. it had halo 3 multi-player and firefight but still...
12 Million.
Its gonna do shitloads this Year and its gonna be bundled like crazy next Year.

Wow that's a little awkward that you didn't even buy the remake. I mean it totally makes sense, the nostalgia part, but I personally would have liked to experience the whole trilogy in HD and modern graphics.
