Spain not looking good so far. The ball is going to puke if they keep passing so much.

they dont need a striker, they will just pass the ball until they reach the goal line and then roll it over

Okay, fair play for experimenting but surely a change is in order for Spain. I mean if they want to play with no striker fine but they keep playing like they have one, inviting crosses and balls over the top but just Fabregas there to get them. It's weird.

I Predict Spain vs Italy to be a lame 0-0 draw.

Half time and so far you are half right. 0-0 but still been a good match so far (IMO). Far more fluid and open than some of the previous games. I'd say only Russia have played at this level so far in the tournament.

Sure there are plenty of people who disagree though.

Looks like Spain are going with the old 6-4-0. Not convincing at all so far, Italy looking much more threatening

they are actually playing a 4-6-0

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

haha I ususally don't wish any injuries to anyone, but in case of Balotelli it would only be fair. Pathetic performance today btw.

Well deserved. Italy impressive while Spain reminds me of the old Spain who is good at possessing the ball but unable to score. Spain needs a striker ASAP.

aaaaah Di Natale on the other hand is one of my favourites from Italy. Always been a great and underrated player.

Yes!!! Italia Scores!!!!!

Pretty impressive game by Italy, completely against what I thought they were going to do against Spain. Had Balotelli been more efficient, they could have been winning by a bigger lead now.

And as it's the general consensus, I also believe that Spain desperately needs a striker on the pitch asap.

Edit - Damn, what a play for Spain, pretty great pass for Fabregas by David Silva :-O.
