Forums - Gaming - Are you always late to the party?

in most cases yes. I played the Witcher 2 this year in February Uncharted 1 & 2 Platinum, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow a year after it got released, GT last month. The most of the games I have I bought long after they where released. I am not really a day purchaser, because if I have not finished a game I wont buy a new one.

Around the Network

Lately i am , I've been to busy to buy games lately, i've yet to get a Vita , and yet to get most 3DS games (I only have 3 games), as for consoles, i've still not gotten Twisted Metal, Skyward Sword, XenoBlade, Starhawk, Halo Aniversarry, Diablo , and well... a heck of a lot more games.

Same here. With each Assassin's Creed I am one year late. Just in the last 2 months I have bought a ton of older games like Two Worlds II, Borderlands, Batman Arkham Asylum, Enslaved, Bioshock 2, La Noire, Dead Space 2, Mass Effect 2 and many more.

My reason too is that I have a huge backlog. Plus games drop so much in price within the first year of release, so itss very tempting to wait a bit and pick them for cheap.

With my most anticipated games I do not wait though. Like Dragon's Dogma, I had to have that game early.

I'm always late to parties, that way I have to drink faster to catch up to people.

I'm about to start playing Kid Icarus on 3DS, it came out in March if I remember correctly and almost all those who were anticipating it have beat the game already. The same thing happened with Resident Evil: Revelations, Tales of Graces f, Devil Survivor 2, and many many others. Looking ahead I will be able to play Dragon's Dogma until late July.

I guess the main reasons for this are that I have a long backlog so I'm constantly playing games that came years ago, Folklore and Valkyria Chronicles for example, and the fact that I live outside the US and I have to wait until the games arrive to my country. It doesn't bother me at all, I was just thinking about it last night.

So for whatever reason are you always late to the party ?

That VGChartz buddy needs to go

Saying games arive later in your country is no excuse, you can always import. If you live in Europe, 90% of the games release only days after the American release. The reason you have such a huge backlog is because you were not interested in those games years ago, I also had a sudden urge to play year old games but I completed my backlog. It took me more then 2 years tough. I have only 1 game to play and its the Jak Collection.

You are totally wrong man. I always import my games but it usually takes 2-3 weeks to arrive. And the reason I have a backlog it's because years ago I didn't have as many consoles as I do now, and I have to play the games that came out in the past, oh and I didnt buy those consoles before because I couldn't afford them (not beacuse I was not interested), now I can. Seriously man, your post was waaaay off.

Why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?
