Cause of the 360 and its userbase.
Same reason why stuff like Killzone 3 can't do big numbers on the PS3 while games like Heavy Rain do amazing numbers.
Especially cause Heavy Rain is by some haters not even called a game.

Alan Wake got a lot of hype cause it was a long time teased as a Dark Open World GTA with killing a lot of stuff > Perfect for the 360
In the moment they changed it to a storytelling action adventure with a flashlight,nearly no shooting andscary elements most people weren't interested anymore.
Alan Wake would have done a LOT better on the PS3 while Killzone and so on would do better on the 360.
Different Communities = different tastes.
Im glad Remedy brought it to the PC cause they wanted more people to reach their game and it paid off for them.Hopefully Alan Wake 2 comes a lot sooner to PC this time.

i remember a thread here were it was discussed if alan wake should come to ps3 and EVERYONE of the ps3 owners was like "oh no who cares about that game". even more than 360 gamers so no, it's not beause of the 360 userbase.

It's still got the Forza name. It's like saying CODBlops isn't COD because it hasn't got the Mordern Warfare name in it.

yes but who fking cares? just because they don't give it another name OMFG, this is just stupid. if they would call it "drive through colorado" you would say "oh new ip" and if it has the name forza you say "oh same name, nothing new" for exactly the same game. yes, makes sense...

It's got Forza in its name, therefore I see it as a part of the Forza franchise, not sure how you say it's not. Are we suggesting Halo Wars and Halo ODST are new IPs because they weren't called Halo 3-4-5? I don't consider Killzone Liberation, Uncharted Golden Abyss etc as new IPs, why? Because they have the same name as already existing IPs. Personally, I would have given Forza H better level of respect if it wasn't a repeat of an already existing name.

yes you say it, your logic makes no sense. there is a difference between playing nathan drake on playstation or vita (exactly for the same people interesting) or playing a simulation or "action" racing game just because the name is the same (horizon is also interesting for people who don't like the forza games). change uncharted golden abyss in treasure hunter xyz and what will you have? correct, an uncharted game, just with other name. change forza horizon in another name and what will you have? a new racing ip

but you know what? it's totally unnecessary, the game is another kind of racing game, if you just don't see it as new ip or not. you like to open a thread just to talk s...? gratz!

btw, with half your games psn games it is even more funny because this is xbox's real strenght, the arcade sector and all the "new ip's" for the console
