Cant wait for this! I just got the iPad app, and it's awesome! It shows you all the fixtures and current standings in the various groups etc.

Anyway, England are sure to get through the first round..group D is terrible! I hope germany can get through too. They're in the same group as holland and portugal, but I have faith.

England played horrible, Well the match was horrible with two teams that have the players and the names but almost none teamplay. If you replaced Belgium with Germany/Spain or Holland they would have walked over England (and I think the last one and first one already did)..Overall had a nice day in the UK but expected more from the match from both sides :(.

Spain will win as usual. They're so superior to everyone else that it's really not funny.

I fancy Spain to win it with Russia as my dark horses (i know, I know, how original).

Ireland (my team) will, unfortunately, be found out and finish bottom of a tough group. Some members of the British press seem to be talking us up a bit as having a chance of getting through it, particularly after Italy's recent troubles on and off the pitch, but I really don't see it happening. Trap has been a very lucky manager but I'd say it's going to end here with a total of one or zero points.

I actually fancy England for a semi final spot. I think they can win a relatively easy group and will then most likely face Croatia or Italy in the knockout stages, which I think would be doable. Then I think they'll be hockied by one of the big boys

Boring prediction but yes I predict Spain to win. Im expecting a Germany v Spain final but I think Spain will have too much for Germany. Holland should have a chance but they tend to underperform in the later stages of tournaments. France are the dark horses here I think.

Any predictions for top scorer and player of the tournament? I'm saying mario Gomez as top scorer and goetze as player of the tournament.

I think England will struggle to get out of the group, France are a very good team 20+ games unbeaten and we always have close games with the Swedes, Ukraine I think will go out, probably with one point.

The Dutch will win overall, strong team and playing well, but its a cup competition and surprises will happen, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Spain to not get anywhere near the final.
