Seeing as this is most likely a holiday-ish 2013 release (they're not launching it against Halo 4 this year), there's no way Microsoft will launch a new console against a huge x360 game like this. This all but guarantees that they're not planning on any new hardware launches until 2014. This is crazy.

GameInformer says in the article that it's confirmed to be for the Xbox 360.

Why would you buy a 360 over a PS3? Seriously. From game variety, graphics, to capability its the infinitely better system.

Actually a Gears of War RTS would be cool, especially with 3 races.

 

I don't know why people talk so much about the platform it is on. I don't care if this is for the Xbox 360 or Xbox 3. It is not like Gears of War 4 (or 5) won't be on Xbox 3 anyway.
