move's purpose was to help the ps3 when it comes to sales, prolonge its life cycle and provide some potential for the future. the ps3 has had good sales since move came out, it wont die before the end of 2013(depends when ps4 comes out) and move functionality has shown that it can integrate itself in many types of games for the future. 

its not as succesful as the kinect by a long shot and probably not what sony hoped but its not a total failure

SONY announces DanceStar Party Hits

Sony has just sent over the first details for DanceStar Party Hits, another dancing game from the SingStar crew.

Following on from the last DanceStar Party game, Hits will feature 40 brand new tracks which, according to the press release, gives you the chance to “perfect your swagger” with real-time video feedback.

“Get ready to head back to the dance floor with a fresh new tracklist featuring original music and videos from international artists such as Nicki Minaj (Super Bass) The Beach Boys (Fun, Fun, Fun), The Wanted (Glad You Came), and many more,” it says.

“When you feel like jumping straight into a dance, you can choose from 160 bespoke routines choreographed and ready for all your dancing needs!”

Party Hits will also let you be the choreographer and create your own dance routines.
