Looks good, and good move by Sony. I'm more than likely getting this with a move.

Unintentional pun?

Intentional fun!

Well not surprising since the first one sell about 3.5m. This one will not be as succesfull than the first one but it will bring big cash to sony.

man some great great gaming news coming out these days for sony :D I for one don't really care if they even announce all they have before E3..as long as they announce some good stuff like this

so far looks like they weren't joking when they said this is a relaunch year of sorts for move. Some good software are heading it's way. If it gets a price cut it will be mighty tempting

So this basically is PS Move's last hope. If this does not sell well, Move is dead IMO

Do we need to draw up a new chalkboard? Because I seem to recall everyone saying Sorcery was Move's last hope. Move is fine.

Well depending on you definition of 'fine'.

i wonder if you are turkish's alter ego to be honest. everytime i see a post of you in a microsoft or sony thread i know what you wrote before reading it lool

There are way more PS3 fans here, let me be the 360 troll please.

I'm a PS3 fan, but saying that move is 'fine' is wrong. It has few games coming in the near future, no masterpiece available and it didn't sell good.

What we can say is that Move is doing decent, but nothing more.

We're gamers.  "Fine" is relative.

Following on from the rather (dare we say it) cool, Dance Star Party, Sony have today announced it’s successor, Dance Star Party Mix.

Due later this year on PS3, the game has full Move integration, 40 brand new tracks and the option to get all the family involved with the new singing feature using SingStar microphones.

Sony also confirmed a number of tracks, but not quite the full list :

Cheryl Cole – Fight For This Love, Dev Feat. The Cataracs – Bass Down Low, DJ Fresh – Gold Dust, Jessie J – Who’s Laughing Now, Lady Gaga – The Edge Of Glory, Nicki Minaj – Super Bass, Reel 2 Real – I Like To Move It, The Beach Boys – Fun Fun Fun, The Pussycat Dolls – Buttons and finally The Wanted – Glad You Came.

Personally I can’t wait to thrash out “I like to move it, move it”, whilst dancing awkwardly around the living room.

Full press details below :

“From the creators of the SingStar phenomenon, DanceStar Party Hits follows on from the original DanceStar Party with 40 brand new tracks, giving you the chance to perform your moves alongside your idols and perfect your swagger with real-time video feedback.

Get ready to head back to the dance floor with a fresh new tracklist featuring original music and videos from international artists such as Nicki Minaj (Super Bass) The Beach Boys (Fun, Fun, Fun), The Wanted (Glad You Came), and many more. When you feel like jumping straight into a dance, you can choose from 160 bespoke routines choreographed and ready for all your dancing needs!

DanceStar Party Hits also allows you to step into the role of choreographer and become a real dance star by creating your own routines using the pinpoint precision of PlayStation Move. Once perfected, challenge friends to beat your score on unique routines that you have developed.

After the party why not get your workout in as well! Use the in-game calorie counter that charts weekly progress as part of an exercise regime in the comfort of your own living room.

Everyone can join in the party by singing along, giving you an all-encompassing super-star social experience with the PlayStation®Eye camera, a Bluetooth headset or SingStar® microphones.

Make your living room the ultimate family playroom with PlayStation Move. By taking the PlayStation Move motion controller in your hand, you can become the star of the show or the sportsman with the skills to score. Bring your family together and experience a gathering like no other, from mum and dad battling it out on the dance floor to brother and sister hitting the ski slopes”

I wouldn't say dead, but yeah, this title will be pretty important for the Move. It looks good though.

Although the idea of Move doing "good" or "bad" is pretty off-topic, humor me. What did it need to sell to be considered good?

Sorry for the off-topic. :)

Answering your question, I have to say that I don't know, because we don't know move devices' sales (I think last Sony report put it at 10 milion, navigation controllers included). But if we look at software sales, i think that we can agree that move didn't sell good.

I don't want to say that is a failure, but that it is not, by a long shot, a market changer, as Kinect is.
