Exactly. But they also are supposed to use te DS in it's own way. (Two Screens and stuff.) Also, it would look horrid on a TV. |

I'm 99.9% certain they won't. DS games should just stay where they belong: on the (3)DS.

Not really.About 70% of the ds library is full of rpg's and jrpgs which most people play for more than just 5 minutes and spend hours into those types of games |
I play all my portable games at home, oddly enough, and alot of them are RPGs or Metroid-style adventure games.
@TV look. They would look just as good as most SNES games do on the virtual console. True, a game like Spirit tracks may look aweful, but the FFIV port would look nice and so would games like Castlevania.
I think all of you naysayers are forgetting the only good best hardware add-on Nintendo has ever made.

I think they should but am not sure either way.
Does the 3DS play any home console games on its VC?
I think Nintendo should make the VC and other downloadable content only limited by the controls offered on said console.
So, 3DS should play anything from Wii on down, so long as it can be accomplished on its controls and the same for Wii you with Wii/DS on down. Obviously the tablet controller would allow Wii U to mimick any DS game that didn't also utilize the GBA port.
I wonder if they're going to start letting you download full DS titles on the 3DS, though. It'd instantly increase the eShop's offerings by about a thousand titles.*
*lol
@Superchink (EDIT: I really did mean chunk there, sorry! Leaving it in for the giggles), you can download Super Mario Bros on the e-shop as far as I know.
