Well one of my favourite feature on the wii was the virtual console where one could download games from nintendo's many consoles and it was a blast playing through them but now with the wii U coming up do you think there will be a way to play ds games on the wii u touchpad.I mean the controller could be used as the bottem half or you could just turn the controller sideways and you then have a large rectangle screen large enough to show both screens of the ds

They would have to make some texture and resolution improvements before even considering it.

I seriously doubt it. DS Games would be available on the 3DS more likely than the Wii U. Just as GC Games would be available on Wii U and not 3DS.

True but the wii U does have all the features needed to run ds games.2 screens,stylus controls.Plus it's not they have to make the games in hd in order to play on the wii U.They could do something like apple does with thier ipod and iphone games that can be played on the ipad without changing the quality of the orignal

Most DS games are actually made for DS, to be portable. It wouldn't be the same.

Those games already have a decent resolution though. If you put DS games on a 40+ inch TV it would look horrendous.

Not really.About 70% of the ds library is full of rpg's and jrpgs which most people play for more than just 5 minutes and spend hours into those types of games

Exactly. But they also are supposed to use te DS in it's own way. (Two Screens and stuff.) Also, it would look horrid on a TV.
