I wouldn't worry about Harmony of Dissonance (still a good game, but not up to the excellence of the other titles). But yes, every other game up there is such a great video game.

You can get Circle of the Moon/Aria of Sorrow off of Amazon for a reasonable price, but seeing as they're GBA games, you'll need a GBA or a DS/Lite.

Dawn of Sorrow, Portrait of Ruin, and Order of Ecclesia are DS games, and Symphony of the Night can be DL'ed off of XBL or PSN.

Get to it.

One game on the go (3DS) and one on the settee (360)............. sold on both counts.

I'm even getting a GBA again so i can track down those jewel Castlevania games on that platform.

Simply an astonishing franchise.

So a classic castlevania in a 2d.5 plane, not entirely what i asked for but could be good.

Symphony of the night I've heard of... But where is the original castlevania? Or Simons Quest? Is this the best of them all?

Symphony is the Final Fantasy 7 of the series. Its the most popular , The one where a large group of newcomers started, set the game design and art direction revamp for entire series. Yes its held by alot to be the best

But how about the three original releases of Castlevania? For the NES... how good are they? And if I don't wanna pay a PS1, where do I get SotN? Are they all downloadable on the 3ds?
