Yeah Sony and ND need to hit the holidays 2012 for this game... its crucial.... But they seem to miss that date for sooo many games and seem content with Feb/March releases.

Its pathetic.

 

 

BTW - the only PS3 exclusives made by Sony that have sold over 5 million are U2 and GT5. I dont know how you expect a new IP coming out at the end of the consoles lifecycle to sell 5+Million

over 5 million lifetime sales easily, and first week 1.0-1.5 million. I think it will be a successful game.

over 5 million. i really believe this game will be very successful. many people who played uncharted will buy this because they love naughty dog now and there will be some new purchasers as well who didn't buy uncharted.

i mean, is there anyone who loves uncharted and won't buy this? i know no one

€dit: ohh forgot about ps4, maybe ps4 will kill some sales in the long run no clue.

How is it over 5 million "easily" ???

 

The only Sony-made PS3 exclusives that have sold over 5m are GT5 and Uncharted 2. 

 

I cant see a new IP doing over 5 million when PS3 is on its last legs before the PS4 comes out.

I do believe that The Last of Us could amount to sales similar to the sales of each Uncharted game, being near the end of the PS3's life cycle could somewhat affects sales but I believe it would not be too significant.

I believe it will do 5million plus, the hype train for this game is going pretty fast and its making alot of stops. (Oh uncharted 1 and 3 will go 5million lifetime plus, so thats some more to add)



PSP Lifetime more than PSV+3DS Lifetime.

I think it has the potential to do 5 mil as long as the meta is high and Sony markets it like they did UC3, both factors are likely.

I'd say around 3m. I don't see it reaching Uncharted levels, plus it'll release towards the end of PS4's life.

Without seeing gameplay, its hard to judge.

I know that the trailers have been very popular, the idea behind the game is really interesting...

4.5 Million. Rough guess, could go higher or lower after I see gameplay.
