Forums - Sony - Where can I find Atelier Rorona in the UK?

These games go out of print quickly , so I recon they sold out already.

I only ever saw 1 copy, in a small local game shop. Bought it, enjoyed it. Very different to your standard game.

Have you checked Play.com? Amazon?

You should import it,
http://www.amazon.com/Atelier-Rorona-Alchemists-Arland-Playstation-3/dp/B003YVP5DE

Before it gets REALLY rare like trinity universe and some other ins games.

Best deal I found on a quick search on my phone -

Trinity Universe isn't actually that rare, atleast not here in the UK, I walked into GAME a few months ago and saw two new copies for £35 each, and atleast half a dozen used copies for £34.50 each (Yeah... 50p less are they kidding?)

It's also pretty easy to find online, it's on Amazon right now for £33.45

Is it worth buying just for the future rarity? I mean, I probably wouldn't play it since the gameplay looks sort of bland, but keeping a brand new wrapped copy will surely bring me a few pennies in the future, right?

I am not sure, but it IS bland, I'd always avoid games made by compile hearts, gust and nis are much better at making games.

I rented from Lovefilm if that's any help

PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

Xbox One: What are you doing Dave?

Wow man, a quick search on ebay and on google wielded some insanely high prices of £60 upwards. This is on the same level of finding a copy of Magna Carta 2 and Tales of Vesperia on 360.

Since its on the PS3 though, you might be better off importing (even though I personally don't really import as it can be a hassle sometimes). But I have to say I definitely would have liked playing these games, wish I had a PS3, I have burned through most 360 JRPGs.

I really liked Atelier Rorona, it is a different take on a genre. I liked that it was a more light hearted every day type story rather an in your face, your the hero jargon. Got me into the series for sure. Atelier Meruru coming out in a few days actually and I have my C.E. Pre-Ordered.

Yeah tell me about it lol. I think I might actually have to import it, but I'll give it another week of looking high and low in every possible webstore/retail store and if I can't find it whatsoever, even used or anything, for a reasonable price, I'll import it... one of the other reasons I dislike importing is my OCD, I hate having mismatching game covers lol, it'll have the ESRB T in the corner instead of the Pegi logo, lol, not to mention the actual cover art is different, although I'll admit the US cover does look tons better.

Yea definitely keep an eye out on ebay. I remember for Magna Carta 2 I was searching high and low and all the copies were around £50 or so but one popped up on ebay used for about £30 and it had best offer option. In the end managed to get it off for about £25. The first game disc was very badly scratched though so the game would initially get stuck at a certain point, but then I tried the old toothpaste and water treatment and what do you know it worked and I managed to get the game installed into the hard drive and have had no problems since.

Anyways the cover art and ESRB/Pegi logos are non-issues though, unless you are one who puts your games on display. I personally couldn't care less as long as it was playable, especially with such a rare game.

PS3 is region-free.

As a bargin hunter, I'm pretty darm sure if you stalk the ebay religiously, you can get a (new) US copy of around $35-40, you just have to win the auction.
